Services
At our Growing Kids Child Psychological Services, Kirsty understands that every child has unique emotional and developmental needs. That's why she provides specialised counselling and assessment services tailored to support children both at home and in school.
While referrals are not necessary for her current offerings, Kirsty encourages you to seek a letter from your school, general practitioner, or pediatrician if they have recommended counselling or assessment. This helps her to address your child's needs more effectively.
Assessments
Kirsty’s comprehensive assessments are designed to pinpoint needs and developmental milestones effectively. She conducts evaluations across various areas, including cognitive, educational, functional, and behavioral assessments. By taking a multifaceted approach, she gathers insights from families, educators, and the young person. After the assessment, Kirsty delivers clear, practical, and tailored recommendations that can be implemented at home and in school settings.

Counselling
Kirsty offers individualised counselling sessions designed to help children manage anxiety, stress, low mood, and behavioral challenges. With a neuroaffirming approach, she creates a supportive and personalised environment that encourages open expression. Utilising techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and brief solution-focused therapy, Kirsty aims to meet children and adolescents where they are, adapting her methods to their preferred styles of communication.
